Shoot Me Now

Oh my Gawd I'm such a catty heifer. I can't help it. I don't want to be this way, but...

Last week Bubbles was gone to the beach in her brand new camper / RV thing and although it put a huge cramp in my butt to think about it, I quietly did both our jobs and tried to be the better person and not be a big grumpass about it. Then, Wednesday she had to leave early (4:30 vs. 5:00) to go buy a new refrigerator, which resulted in my having to work over when one of her customers called at 4:59 and I was stupid enough to answer the phone. It turned into one of those long, drawn out phone calls where the customer didn't have a clue what they needed, but I tried not to think about it. Since I'm on the subject anyway, why would you have to leave at 4:30 to buy a fridge? Home Depot doesn't close at sundown. It was just another case of using any possible excuse to leave early.

Anyway, so today I've had the pleasure of listening to her on the phone with her insurance company and all her friggen backwater kinfolk as she tells them all about the brand spanking new SUV she went out and bought last night.

Why am I so childish? Why do I care? I try not to but dang...

I reckon I'm just human. I dunno. I do know that if I have to listen to one more "Ohmagawd it's so AWEsuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm" ya'll may hear about me on the evenin' news after I go off and take a can of red spray paint and write "OHMAGAWD IT'S NOT THAT AWESUUUUMMM.. SHUT UP" all over her brand new shiny white vehicle.

They've got to be in debt up to their nose hairs. I'll just keep telling myself that.

Every month she has to cringe and put the credit card and car payment bills in a pile to deal with.

I keep reminding myself of this as I look around my neighborhood and see new vehicles every year, incredible landscaping, new huge huge boats, etc.

They are all in debt up to their ears.

PS:

If you are in the mood for a vacation you can come visit me! :)

It would be a freaking BORING mid-western vacation but you're welcome. :)

Oh I'm not taking a vacation this year, I think that's why I'm so grumpy when everyone else takes theirs lol.

I'm taking the little bit of "extra" I'm making and putting it all towards the one credit card I still owe on. Once my "extra" money becomes money I can spend, I'll be able to see things a little better :)

Not only do they have the payments for that RV and SUV which you know isn't going to be cheap, they also have outrageously high insurance bills for them.

Ohmagawd, I can SO sympathize. Today I had to listen to my coworker whine about not being able to buy lunch because she and the hubby just bought a boat. Nice. But I'd rather be able to eat everyday.
