Greek Pizza and Stuffed Squirrels

It's going to be a lovely Thursday. I can feel it in my bones.. in my flesh.. right down to the very center of my being.

I'm trying to convince myself.. does it show?

It stormed here in Frog Pond Holler yesterday and last night. The wind bent the trees nearly in half, sent trash can lids rolling down the street and almost ripped Old Glory from the flag pole. I managed to make it home before the worst of it kicked in, having stopped at the diner to pick up one of their new pizzas and a Greek salad, both delicacies which are normally hard to come by here. Oh you could get a pseudo pizza before, from the campground store, with pre-made dough, canned crap and plasti-cheese, but we've sort of sworn off eating anything from there since their score from the health inspector dropped to 83.5. I've often wondered if the low score had anything to do with the stuffed woodland creatures that line the shelves above the beer cabinets.

Ya'll think I'm kidding, but I swear it's the truth. I keep meaning to take pictures, I'll work on that.

Bubbles is in rare form this morning. She's perkier than Eskimo tattas on a cold December morning. I'm thinking about slipping a few Benedryl into her iced tea.

I keep telling myself and Lulu, Thelma and Louise that it's going to be a good day. I don't think they're buying it either.

Ya'll have a good one :)

83.5? I wouldn't touch the place with a 10-foot pole!!
