Thank goodness it's payday. I'm going to HAVE to go to the grocery store tonight. I ate two meals in one day from the Grab n' Go (and go and go) yesterday and I can feel the grease seeping out of my pores.
Speaking of the Grab n' Go (and go and go) the Amazon reprimanded me for not tellin' ya'll about the big cat fight that happened in the parking lot the other day. One of the Amazon's childhood friends, her friend's mama and her friend's brother's baby mama got into a brawl with her brother's ex-girlfriend, the girlfriend's mama and meth addict aunt.
I would share the details, but I can't do the story justice. Just trust me that it was a sight to behold, putting Jerry Springer and WWE to shame. These mountain women don't mess around, especially when someone starts mouthing off to your son's pregnant wife in the library parking lot, right in the middle of town in front of God and everybody.
I'm a little foggy on exactly how it got from the library to the Grab n' Go (and go and go) but that's where the shit hit the fan and the ex-girlfriend hit the pavement with the Amazon's childhood friend doing the throwdown then sitting on her chest. From what I can gather, someone got tossed on to a car, there were punches thrown and believe me, very little girly hair pulling and slap fighting took place.
It sucks a big one that I was at work. I hate that I had to miss it.
In other news...
Ya'll might want to take a peek at the blog list in the sidebar. I've added a couple of recipe blogs that were recommended to me by some Plurk buddies. One specializes in Crock-Pot recipes, the other is all Southern food. I really need to invest in a Crock-Pot, especially now that the Amazon is only working two days a week and Ma is home during the day. Ma never would buy one, she always said she was afraid it would burn the house down.. something she says often, resulting from watching her own home burn when she was a little girl.
Ah well.. it's Friday, right? No three day weekend again this week. Let's see if I can make it the whole five days without pukey headaches or dental emergencies.
Everyone needs a goal in life.
Ya'll have a Happy Halloween! And may all the spooks you encounter be buff, cut and on their way to a Chippendales audition (or Pussycat Dolls if you so desire. No judgement here!)
Later Taters!

Happy Halloween Lady!
Happy Halloween!
Mahala
Thanks for giving me a big ol' grin - they're few and far between 'round here these days. I hope you and yours have a spectacular Halloween!
Mm-m-m ... crock pot food ..
What blog list? I see comments archive, lables....no blog list. Am I blind?
I'm a huge crockpot user, especially in the colder months so I'll have to take a peek. I can't even imagine seeing a fight with two girls going at it. Good grief already. Now Chippendales I can see. I can see them VERY clearly in my head.
