It's storming here this morning and promises to get even wilder as the day progresses. When my alarm went off at the butt crack of dawn, I wanted nothing more than to lie in the bed just a bit longer, listening to the rain pepper the trailer roof. I was up half the night, tossing and turning, panicking and wringing my hands over the stupid plumbing problems. Mr. Handy Dandy called yesterday to inform Ma that Frog Pond Holler was just too far out for him to drive. This is common whenever something tears up here in town. It's reason #5874 why I hate this place.
Although I'm quickly running out of funds, I took my debit card and ran to the dollar store last night. I bought the $8 jug of super-uber-dooper-guar-aun-teed-to-clear-any-clog drain cleaner. I poured it in most of the drains, flushed them out, then in between uploading more photos for the new shop, struggling with doing a Google base feed, learning Open Office, cooking dinner and cleaning up, I flushed them out with hot water and stared in amazement as the water drained from our bathtub faster than it ever has before.
By this morning, the toilet was gurgling again as I took my shower.
I really just want to go back to sleep.
Ma was absolutely giddy with excitement when she got a call from the pedophile cousin. I don't know if she told him to come over or not. I don't really care at this point.
I'll just let it go at that. Just know that I'm not in a very happy place right now.
Anywho, it would really improve my mood if ya'll took a look at the photos I uploaded to my Imagekind shop and tell me what you think. Even if you think they suck. I can take it. You can scroll through them in the doodad in my sidebar, you don't even have to leave the page.
I'm going to go tackle this stack of paper on my desk now and think about the upcoming four day weekend. I hope ya'll have the best day ever.
Later Taters.
P.S. Just got off the phone with Ma. The twice arrested pedophile cousin will be over this evening or in the morning.
Whatever.

was here, and took it all in. There's got to be somethin' good that will come of this septic saga, but damned if I have a clue what it might be.
Glad your pics are now in the sidebar; you knows how I feel about 'em.
Chin up (go and ahead and say buzz off, if it makes you feel better :*)
Hope it gets better.

Man, to have your hopes dashed like that. Is teh suck.
Atsome point it all does become a big 'whatever,' doesn't it?
Love the pictures..you are a good photographer! I try to take photos like that and it just doesn't really work...
Hopefully the pedophile can fix the problem and go away quickly.
I think your pictures are gorgeous!!! So don't worry about that, 'kay?
Whatever. That's my favorite word when it all goes in the toilet.
make sure your child has a bat or large frying pan to pummel pedophile in-breeder cousin. i dont wanna be getting any phone calls from her
The photos look great.
Too bad about the plumbing. I hope your septic tank isn't about to overflow. You may recall we had that problem in Feb. Ick.
What's with your mom, asking that guy to come over?
I think those are beautiful pictures, even if you never ever post on my blog anymore. :( :) Sorry to hear about your drain. I guess that's one of the very few advantages to apartment life.
I hope the problem is fixed while you are not around. It sounds like a nice quick run by rotorooter would fix the problem.

The doodad in your sidebar is cool - and your photos are great! I'm especially fond of the lock and the Bible. Pretty cool pic!
Oh, and - who better to muck around in the filth than an in-bred pedophile? I mean - he probably loves it!
It must be clogged up drain season because when I take a shower? I'm standing in a pile of water because it's not draining. Or it drains verrrrry slowly. Right now I'm thinking of just burning the whole damn house down. My husband says I can't but I'm not sure I'm going to listen to him at this stage. Flippin house is giving more grey hairs lately! Anywho. Love the pics, you've got a talent!
Dusk Blue- beautiful. Cool sky is a nice shot- like it. Autumn Leaves Church¬- slope of ground on the left gives impression of seeing the roof of a building that is mostly out of view. Otherwise a good composition. Mass of trees with branches in foreground is great. Autumn Mountain Creek – lovely, would like to see same shot slightly lower with no washed out sky and more creek. Sunrise- dramatic shot, love the slope of the ridgeline but appears to be a little overexposed. Mountain Sunset- gorgeous but doesn’t feel like sunset, makes me think of names like: Mountain Light or Mountain sky. Mushroom and Moss- Great color and texture. There is no rule against a little staging when a nice grouping is found. The leaf just above the mushroom could be moved to the right and the curled leaf in the foreground removed. The moss looks a lot like ferns to me but five hours of botany forty years ago doesn’t make me all that knowledgeable. Tattered Angel- interesting , a cherub on a pot. Rembrandt often had light streaming in from the left in his paintings. In photography, one of the four basic methods of lighting is called, “Rembrandt lighting”. You captured a bit of this with the sunlight hitting the left side of the pot. I would take the shot as is and then several more after moving the pot to get more sunlight highlighting the face. It might be worthwhile to get some watercolor and see what else might emerge with a little help. Personal Bible- great color contrast with the brown and green. Nice texture changes between the wood and the hasp. The bit of string on the right doesn’t need to be there, A good shot with or without the bible. Red Autumn Leaf- strong photo, good composition, a bit overexposed but you may have intended that for this shot. Down River Mountain- Wow, really nice. I would return often looking for a more dramatic sky to complement the scene below. Deep Purple Violet- great color and texture, nice. Palm Tree- backlit- high contrast shots are tricky, try to get sun behind bulge in palm trunk to lessen the harshness and loss of detail where sun is too bright. Country Gate in Sepia- interesting composition but needs more gate less sky, overexposed. I hope this is the feedback you wanted. I do enjoy your blog.
