It's quiet, peaceful Friday morning here at the Cubicle Asylum. The factory is on four-ten hour days now, meaning there will be no banging, yelling or the beeping of forklift horns to serve as the soundtrack for my day.
Bubbles and Thelma are also off, meaning there will be peace in the holler for the duration.
I'm plumb tickled.
Do ya'll remember the other day, when Ma kept asking me about grapes? It seems Aunt Moses had called her to warn her not to accept any offers of grapes from Dubya, our neighbor and eternal thorn in my side. She'd peeked over there while tending to her mowing duties at the vacant lot across the road and swears he's got raw sewage running over the grapevines for fertilizer.
Ew.
Now I wonder if whatever he's doing over there isn't some how the cause of all our plumbing problems. Ma has blamed him all along, saying she thinks he's got a big hot tub in the building he put out back and is some how causing the problem with the lines when he empties it. But then.. Ma also says he's hiding Mexicans in the camper back there and he's running them back and forth across the border.
The last time I checked, North Carolina wasn't anywhere near the Mexican border... but anywho..
I have a list of things I want to accomplish this weekend, but I'm not going to plan any of it, the Universe always seems to have other ideas when I do. So, for the next three days, I'm going to go with the flow.. follow my nose and see where it takes me.
I'll let ya'll know how that works out.
Enjoy your Friday.
Later Taters!

I envy your peaceful day at work!
What if your ma is right??!!
Man, what I wouldn't do for a quiet peaceful day...
I've heard earbuds'll help. :)
Aw, well Geography isn't that important, right? Happy Friday!
Well, it just wouldn't be right if you didn't have at least one crazy neighbor that keeps ya guessing. That would be just too easy, wouldn't it?
Hope your day was nice and quiet! I'm enjoying your random Ma stories. :)
If you follow your nose, won't you end up in your neighbor's back yard?
