Broken Dogs and Witty Scotts

Sammy's Brahma like hump was determined to be an abscess of some kind. The Amazon had to leave him there, they're going to do surgery then keep him overnight. When I talked to her she said she was worried I'd never let her take the critters to the vet again, because she was coming home without a dog. I would be lying if I were to pretend that I could take this all in stride. I've got a knot in my gut the size of a Volkswagen.

Anywho..

I went online and bought my tickets for Craig Ferguson's show in Big City. I didn't get front row center, but I got fourth row in the "orchestra left" section, on the aisle. I probably could have called the ticket office and gotten better seats, but I don't need to be in the front row anyway, there's less chance of me getting in trouble.

My brain is kind of spinning at the moment, between the car, the dog and work. I'm not feeling too peachy either, a little feverish and icky. The plan is to return later with something wonderfully witty and exciting.

Ya'll stay tuned.

I've been a reader and fan for some time now but this is my first comment. Do I win somethin' LOL

Anyway - don't worry too much about Sammy, one of my "furneighbors" just had similar surgery and he is doing fine. Worst part for him was negotiating the stairs with the damn cone on.

And congrats on your Craig tickets - any seat in the house is a good one if that man is on stage.

Make sure to let us know how Sammy is doing.

Ooooh, yay for you getting the tickets! I have seen him do stand-up, he is very funny!

I had aisle seats for my wonderful Tommy Emmanuel concert. The better to (wishfully) run out after him.

Actually, as I am a bit claustrophobic, the aisle seats are a necessity. Congrats on the upcoming evening. Keep up posted.

Sammy will be okay but I know just how you feel.
