Donuts, Nessy and Hot Stuff

Did ya'll know it was National Donut Day??? I didn't get no stinkin' donut.

Let's see, it's farkin' hot down at the Cubicle Asylum, the powers that be are promising that there'll be someone to come fix the air conditioner on Monday, but we've heard that song and dance before.

Bossman is pretty hot too, but not because of the heat and not in a Craig Ferguson in Speedos kind of way either. Our one major customer complained to corporate management that Bossman is rude, hard to deal with and unreasonable.

I could have told them that.

Did ya'll see the new video footage from Loch Ness? I don't know what it is, but I think it's pretty awesome. One of my Scottish lines, the McPhersons, came from Inverness which is somewhere up there around Loch Ness. Also, our other Scottish line, the Glenns, supposedly owned Loch Ness at one time. Cool huh?

Anyways, only half a day to go at the crazy place before the weekend finally begins. Ya'll hang in there :)

P.S. Scroll down to "Power Issues, Johnny Depp and Sparkle Sparrow" if you missed it!

Congrats on the soon to be new computer. It really does make a differnece when things work like they should.

Doesn't the place you work make like parts for heating and cooling systems? A week without A/C! It is a wonder felonies have not been committed.

The boss is unkind, and he is disturbed that someone might point that out. One place that I worked, a customer (not one of mine (thank the gods) took video to the corporate office to prove how inept my boss was. My boss finished a meeting at 5:00 PM one afternoon with a see you all in the morning. I went to my mail box and there was a memo saying that he had left the firm to seek other opportunities; aparently someone was waiting in his office to tell him that when the meeting finished. (True story! the last I heard he was building prisons for a living.)

Have a fun weekend!

We received 7 big blobby drops of rain and no more. Not enough. How about you?

I really want Nessie to be real.

Thanks too for the empathy and hugs. I felt better writing it out as I did though as I'm sure you can imagine I restrained myself quite a bit.
