96 Hours and Counting

It's almost the weekend. I'll have to admit it makes me a little nervous, not having the distraction of work to keep me from wanting to smoke. I'm sure I'll muddle through, I'm determined this time.

Hopefully I can get some things done around the house this weekend without having to stop and nap too many times. I did manage to stay awake until bedtime last night, thats the first time this week. I need to fix that drawer for my computer keyboard, tend to ever growing mounds of laundry, haul some trash and hopefully scrub the bathroom walls.

Dang, I'm tired just thinking about it.

I was going to refrain from mentioning this morning's visit with Craig Ferguson in today's post, lest I begin to sound like a sadly obsessive lonely old woman desperately in need of companionship, but dang. Not only did I have Barney Slash over coffee, but Ferguson half naked AND in drag. At the same time. And I liked it. I'm still analyzing what this means about my own sexuality. I may need more coffee before I can figure it out. All I know is, Ma felt the need to come check on me, worried by the strange sounds she heard coming from the living room. There she found me, hair still wet from my shower, wrapped up in my robe, curled up on the couch trying desperately to steady my coffee cup while laughing my sizeable ass off. There was snorting and tear wiping involved. She just rolled her eyes and went back to bed, because that's what she does.

*Sigh*

It's going to be a long day, I think. But it's Friday.. we'll make it.
