I've made it a week without a smoke. I promise not to bring it up anymore now for a while, I think I'm over the hump. Now if I could just manage to stay awake.
I didn't get squat done this weekend. The Christmas tree is still up on the dog crate / end table in the living room. The two loads of things I managed to wash consisted of sheets and bed spreads that were piled up in the laundry room, therefore I still don't have any clean clothes to wear to work this week. There was one pot on the stove from God only knows when that had gotten to stinking so bad that I couldn't even bear to take the lid off of it to empty it, so it's sitting on the back steps.
You might be a redneck....
I know I sound like a broken record (that's a really big CD that skips and repeats itself for you young folks out there) but.....
I'M SO TIRED.
I'm sucking down coffee like it's the elixir of life, I've got The Cult jammin' on my computer speakers.. but I could soooo lay my head down on my desk and snooze the rest of the day.
Anyways, maybe I'll feel more inspired as the day progresses.

Catch up on your rest (I've been having trouble getting to sleep and am about 10 hours behind in the last few days.)
Tis good to hear from you!

HOORAY! for no cigs. If you can get through the next week, then you have it licked. Coffee is better than the alternative...LOL...and if you can keep from eating...you'll be good to go.
Good for you!! The best advice I can give is water, lower carbs and 5 or 10 minute walk to boost your metabolism.
hey - this is your body trying to clear all the toxins from the cigarettes - it makes you feel tired because it deprives your system of oxygen. Try drinking lots of fluids- green tea if you can take it - and eat LOTS of fruit and vegetables, fresh if you can find them - it will make this go away faster.
