I woke up this morning to the sound of soft rain beating gently on our tin roof, a slight chill in the air and the sound of autumn winds blowing through the holler. After smacking the snooze button as many times as I could get away with, I staggered out of bed... but dang, I didn't want to.
It was a cuddle bunny, lazy, snoozin' kind of morning, but alas, the Asylum calls.
I could probably sleep for a month actually. I've been feeling a little icky for the past week or so. My hands have been swollen and my legs are bothering me, I know it'll pass but I hate seeing stuff that needs to be done, but only mustering enough motivation to sit on the couch and stare at it.
I do need to remember to venture out back when I get home this evening. I need to investigate the sudden, unexplainable appearance of a section of what looks like syphon hose laying on the embankment just outside the dog lot.
Me, Ma and the Amazon have spent alot of time looking out the back door at it and we've determined that there is no way physically possible that it could have blown in to the yard. It either had to drop from the sky or someone lost it while carrying out some dastardly deed. There is no logical reason for anyone to have been back there.
Ma thinks a thievin' sorry excuse for a human being was trying to sneak back there and steal from our oil tank, then coming face to face with a very large, very vocal Ozzy, who can suddenly materialize from the confines of his dog house and shock the living hell out of people who already know he's there.
I told the Amazon that if that's what happened, there's probably a pile of fear induced human poopie turds in close proximity to the hose.
I plan to venture out there this afternoon and take some CSI type pictures before removing the hose and any other evidence I can find. I love playing Nancy Drew.
Anywho, I have to take an early lunch today so that I can attend some more Hi Karate training sessions. I'd better get some work done in the mean time.
Ya'll have a kick ass Thursday.
Later Taters!

Oh I hope no one is stealing your oil! Hard economy brings out the aweful in some people. Any way to lock it up?
Hmmm, it tis a mystery. Can't wait to hear what's behind it. I always fantasize that I'm Columbo and cracking cases left and right. Which is pretty weird since Columbo's a man and all.
I love it when the dog scares the poopopp out of them.
