Idle Hands are the Devil's Pointy Pokey Thing.. or Somechit

Holy jeebus the boredom.

I've entered like three orders today, for a grand total of about $500. Other than a small pile of filing that I really don't feel like dealing with, I don't have anything productive to do. In an effort to keep myself entertained and looking busy, I have:

Doodled on enough scrap paper to take down the entire southeastern quadrant of a Chilean rainforest..

Changed my internet radio station three times, from hard rock to 80's pop stuff to oldies...

Watched a half an episode of The Riches on Hulu..

Doodled some more..

Signed up for the message board on Eddie Izzard's website.. then remembered that I don't do message boards 'cuz I always end up pissed off, running off at the mouth and getting death threats...

Checked my site stats approximately 1,583,239 times...

Cruised the website for The Late Late Show to make sure Craig Ferguson is still scheduled for Athens, Georgia on September 19, noting that the link to the venue still takes you to a website for Foxwoods in effin' CONNECTICUT...

Doodled...

Wondered why in the hell Craig Ferguson doesn't have his own website, like his buddy Eddie, instead of depending on that perpetually borked up example of fucktardedness maintained by a certain television network..

Visited the tool crib to stock up on rubber bands for Cutie Patootie's visit next week and the inevitable combat which will take place...

Read some blogs...

Randomly recited the beginning lyrics to Stairway to Heaven when Tiny asked me who was waiting in the front lobby...

And there's three hours to go. Ya'll have been forewarned.

Later Taters!

Yeah. What the hell is going on? Yesterday I was so busy I thought my hair was on fire. Today, I'm experimenting with which pen hurts the most when I jab it in my eyeball.

tori: It was great, it took him a second to realize there wasn't "a lady who's sure.. all that glitters is gold" waiting for a job interview.

terri: heck if I know.. but please, stop with the eye poking. You can't blog without eyes.. I don't think.

I was so bsuy today I didn't have time to think. I lost my assistant this week, and in a tight budget we will not be replacing her, my life be a living hell!

Don't 'cha just hate it though when the work load is really low/slow and you feel forced to make people (and yourself too) think you are being busy and productive? Nothing moves slower than a damned watched clock -or is more boring either -well, maybe watching paint dry is worse. I dunno but I think it would be a pretty close race on the boredom scale. Just keep getting prepped for next week and "cutie patootie." That sounds interesting to me.

While I've spent the last 4 days doing nothing but one teensy powerpoint presentation...and redoing my blog theme. OY! I wish I had a pen to poke out my eyeballs.

But at least I can catch up on all my blog reading now :)
