Hushpuppies, Shopping Trips and Adjusting the Paper Flow

Things were nuts here at the asylum yesterday. We had our Christmas dinner which was BBQ, slaw, hushpuppies, baked beans and potato salad. Dinner was served out on the manufacturing floor, between the laser and the steel receiving area, where we all lined up to collect our globs of shredded pork, served up sans utensils with plastic gloved hands dropping the feast on Styrofoam plates.

Yuuuuuuum-yum!

I'm taking Jolene out to Big City tomorrow. I've not been in the mall in over a year. I've not been to Tar-jay in at least two. After I hit the mall for some deals and bask in the wonder that is holiday traffic, I'm gonna go to Wally World to buy Jolene some el cheapo floor mats. I've already tracked mud in on her unprotected carpet. After that I may hit Pet-Not-So-Smart for some girlie guppies. I'm down to one male and two neons. I'm considering a new beta as well, but this one will live in the two gallon fish bowl that Diego started out in. It just seems a waste for it to sit empty when so many flamboyant little beta fishies are sitting in plastic pee cups all over the world.

I've been digging around looking for ways to earn some bucks by writing online and I've found a few. The good news is, none of these methods will involve "Hidden Mahala." My blog can once again become a place where I write what I want without worrying about conforming to someone else's standards. I plan to begin tackling some of those freelance writing resources this Sunday. After I've sorted them out and decided which ones I'm going to stick with, I'll let ya'll in on what I'm doing.

The new "project" I told ya'll about has had to move to the back burner for a bit until I fix the situation that the whole PayPerPost/Google fiasco tossed my way. It's all going to work out for the best.

I'd better get to work, the "in" box is over flowing and the "out" box is empty. We can't have that. Ya'll enjoy your Friday!

Later Taters.

Note: Dang ya'll, forgive my scatter brainedness. Hop over and visit Travel Penguin for his version of this week's meme!

If you find a way to do "straight" writing let me know! This mess with google and ppp is ridiculous, to say the least. Have fun getting some new "duds" for Jolene too -keep that baby shining nice and pretty as long as you can!
