Lawsy.. where to begin?
I got off to a slow start this morning. I finally got cranked up around nine and I've been slammed ever since. It's good to be busy, but it's cutting into my blog time.
The Amazon took my car yesterday, with the intention of going to Big City for sushi. She didn't even make it out of the county before the engine light came on. By the time she pulled up in the parking lot here at the asylum, steam was boiling out from under the hood and she thought for sure she'd blown it up. After she took the van and headed back home, I had Purchasing Guy and Tiny out there looking at it. Between the three of us there was about enough mechanical prowess to fill a Dixie cup, but we gave it a shot. We determined that:
A. It had over heated
B. The thermostat was operational
C. It was safe to drive it as far as Cletus' Garage without doing any irrepairable damage
We filled it with water and said a blessing over it before I took off in it after work. Cletus has determined that it was just a belt, so hopefully it won't cost much to fix.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but last Thursday Ma had the hippy van towed up to Cletus' to have it fixed. I was against it, but I didn't say anything. He got it running again, so today the Amazon and Ma hit the road, heading across the state line to the junk yard where the hippy van died the last time. This time they made it there, bought a door and made it back home.

Lulu just dumped another order on my desk, giggling insanely before she turned and skipped away. I'd better get on it.
Later Taters!

Yours could fill a Dixie Cup? LOL, ours wouldn't fill a thimble! When car repair places see us coming, they rejoice because we know not what we know not.
There has to be a better way of getting around. Can we start teleporting? You should hear them complain about the Tube. The Paris metro is scheduled for a 6 day strike next week. Maybe if they put the phone and computer terminal in your bathroom at home.

Every time I read about your vehicle issues I think about how badly you could have used our minivan that we donated to a woman just a few months before I knew you would need it. Oh how I WISH I had known... I would have gladly driven it to you. But I have to hope that she needed it just as badly.
(We are going to be selling my daughters 1993 Pontiac Firebird within a couple months I think - for about $500-1000) LOL.
