Is it Five O'Clock Yet?

Waking up this morning with the realization that it was really Friday made me want to jump out of bed and do the cabbage patch, nekkid while singing the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive."

No... seriously.

This has been one of the crappiest weeks I've ever had at the Asylum. I took it upon myself to smooth things over when Bossman made some remark about ignorant Puerto Riccans while standing directly in front of Louise's desk, who's husband (and as a result, children) happen to be Puerto Riccan. I made him feel like a total dog turd by the time I was done with him, but jaysus... was the surname "Lopez" not a fricken CLUE?

Bossman was out of the office yesterday and plans to be gone today as well. One can only hope.

In other news, the Amazon (and my car) made it home yesterday safe and sound, thank you for ya'll's prayers. She is still unemployed. I think I'm going to have to offer her some motherly assistance on job searching, whether she wants me to or not.

Anywho.. I've got to get my ass in gear, my backfield in motion and with the program. Ya'll enjoy your Friday!

I just experienced Deja Vu. I used to work with a girl whose last name was Villareal. She was complaining about some of her friends and family one day, and our boss asked her why she was hanging out with all those Mexicans anyway? Uhhhh... DUH!

It always amazes me how completely oblivious some people are.
