Navy Barracks Swastika Controversy

Have ya'll seen this? These Coronado, California Navy barracks, although unnoticed from the ground, clearly show they were built in the shape of a swastika when viewed from the air. The unusual shape became more apparent when people began viewing satellite images on Google Earth.

The official position of the USN is that the shape was unintentional, but there are conspiracy theorists chiming in with their opinions.

What do you think?

Well, it wouldn't surprise me if it was unintentional. But it IS pretty stupid! Did nobody look at the blueprints? Sheesh.

tain't nothin' wrong with a swastika. It's just a symbol of good luck and is also similar to the Celtic triskel. So umm...

Yah.

I find it hard to believe that no one noticed that in the blue prints, the conspiracy theorists might have something there.

I think that it was just a design that allowed a maximum amount of light, gardens and privacy. Lots of buildings are L shaped. This just had Four L's.
