Dancing Hippies, Broken Doors and the Stuff of Dreams

Today feels like it's been about three days long. The Amazon took the van and headed out to Big City for some kinda hippy fest with belly dancing and people in dreadlocks handing out love beads... or something. I'm not sure. I believe in the "ignorance is bliss" approach to being the parent of someone over the age of twentyone.

I was a little apprehensive about her taking the van. When I got home Friday, I got out, closed the door and it bounced back open. It's broken again. I'm not going to bother getting it fixed. I think I'm going to have my car towed up to Cletus' so we can see how much it's going to cost to get it back on the road. I've let it sit forever because I could only afford to keep one vehicle running and Ma insisted that it be the van. I'll see about my car, then if the Amazon wants to invest in getting the door replaced, she can.

Since the Amazon had taken the only running, or limping, vehicle to Big City, I decided to walk to the dollar store for milk and bread. For some reason I waited until the hottest time of day to go, I'm sure I looked a mess by the time I got there. As I approached the store, I noticed a vehicle parked outside and stopped dead in my tracks.. staring. It was a very large, very shiny, silver motorcycle, just like the one I dreamed about recently. I don't know who owned it and it was gone when I came back out, but it was downright creepy seeing it there.

Anywho, dinner's done, the Amazon is still out and Ma is sawing logs in the other room. I think I'm going to toss a load of laundry in the wash and settle in for the evening.

Later Taters :)

A mystery on a big silver motorcycle, time to buy a lottery ticket.

Let's hope the week is peaceful!
