It's a beautiful day in Frog Pond Holler, the slight nip of fall in the air, gentle breezes tossing the first of the fallen leaves along the pavement... but here in the Asylum?
Not so much.
Lulu has one of her famous headaches, meaning one eyeball appears bigger than the other and if you look closely, you can almost witness it's rhythmic pulsing. Her headaches are always accompanied by intestinal assault from, as she so delicately explains, both ends.
Bubbles has been exhibiting mood swings all morning, from child-like exuberance to quietly mumbling death threats under her breath. I expect her to snap any second.
Thelma has been pretty quiet after it got around that after she called in sick yesterday, making a big production over how horribly ill she was, she was overheard in town around noonish complaining that she was worn plumb out after spending the morning pressure washing both her and her in-laws houses.
And Me?
After being told off in Spanish, French and some other language I wasn't able to identify, all customers, I managed to verbally rip the head off of one of the managers who thought it would be cute to stick his nose in a conversation I was having with Bossman and show just how big a hiney hole he could be.
Yeah it's a lovely day.
*snort*
I'm anxiously awaiting word from the Amazon, who was taking Sammy to get those nasty drainage tubes out and his head gear removed. I hope it goes okay. I worry about my critters.
I've been a little slack in commenting on your blogs lately and for that I apologize. I have them all on feed and read them daily, but I try to click through and comment as well. It's just been a bit busy here at the asylum.
Anywho, I'd better run for now. Ya'll have a good one :)
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. It's Humpday.. hump it real good!

He sure to wear your snap-proof vest, or at least an tin foil hat to work to protect yourself from all the strangeness.
