Of Snow, Bubbahubbies and People with more Money than Sense

They called for snow this evening in Frog Pond Holler, so of course it snowed this morning instead. School buses stranded at the side of the road going across the mountain, angry parents ripping new orafaces in the behinds of assorted school officials on the phone. It was chaos. All the youngins did eventually make it home, but it took a while. One car load of teens, the driver of which had only had his license for six months, slid off the road up on the mountain and called his mother in a panic. He was not driving any further. She told him to sit still and she'd send bubbahubby up there after him. Her hubby happens to be a sheriff's deputy, so the fact that the road was closed half way up this side of the mountain wasn't going to stop him. Anyway, then we hear a state trooper on the scanner, talking about trying to get some car load of boys to get off the side of the road.

Oh holy hell.

The boys are on the cellphone calling their mom while their mom is on the phone at work calling the dispatcher for the highway patrol, to tell them to tell the trooper that SHE said for those boys to stay where they were, bubbahubby was on his way.

Dang.

And the highway patrol minded her and left them alone too. That's the funny part. No one wants to suffer the wrath of an angry mama.

I've gotten several hits the past couple weeks from people looking for "all I want for Christmas is Craig Ferguson t-shirt."

Hell fire. Is there such a thing?? And why wasn't I told?

What's the deal with Donald Trump? I mean, I've never had much respect for the man other than his talent for accumulating money and ex wives, but great goodedy moogedy.. could someone please shut him the hell up?

I haven't had a smoke since yesterday morning. It hasn't been that bad for the most part. I've taken alot of naps, it'll be interesting to see how I do this weekend when I don't have work to distract me.
