Just Another Manic Monday

Now that ya'll are cussing me because you've got that song stuck in your head....

I'm currently engaged in a great debate. Do I make some coffee so that I can stay awake at least until bedtime so that I can take some trash out and tidy up a bit or do I say the hell with it and make like a veggie on the couch, which will no doubt lead to a nap.

The trash can overfloweth. The sink too. But the body is tired. I'm slowly moving towards option number two.

I may have closed a 93k order today. I'll know for sure tomorrow if I get the paperwork. That deserves a break right?

I had my regularly scheduled Monday headache by lunchtime. I'm convinced it's the office ventilation (or lack thereof) causing it. Other than that, things went pretty smooth, although hectic. There was that one crack by an office mate who refered to the hippy van as "the welfare wagon." She just got a brand new vehicle, one of those ... things.. that can't decide if it's a station wagon, a mini van or a hatchback. I tried to take it in stride. She's the type that opens her mouth before her brain has a chance to kick in.

My day is coming. I'll show them. Some day.

At least no one called from corporate looking for a table dance, with a bucket of wings. It was also a snake free day, that's always a plus. Maybe things are looking up.

I think I'm going to go hold down the couch. Another Monday is in the can. That's something :)

Later Taters.

Maybe she'll fall down and skin her knee tomorrow.

Or maybe a snake will get in her new vehicle while she isn't looking and surprise her on the drive home!

As for holding down the couch on a Monday night, isn't that a law???

Being the type that speaks before her brain is in gear is no excuse for being rude! May she have a flat time every week and have to ask for a ride home...may a buggy zoom out across the Walmart parking lot and 'ding' the driver's side door (so she will have to see it everytime she gets in)...may her take home pizza (with extra cheese)side off the back seat and dump into the carpet.
May her.....aaaaww...you get the message.
