I live in Louisiana so there are no mountains here...I love mountains, I mean... LOVE... mountains and always felt I should live in the mountains...It took me a lot of years to get that idea out of my head and begin to love this place that has always been my home. I still wish from time to time that I could look out my window and have the view you have. I guess we all have to come to the realization that we should "bloom where we are planted" in order to be happy with ourselves and the place we are in. That said, when we have the time and money, we head to the Ozarks for a day or two. Love the Smokies, but too far to go with just a few days off. What I started out to say was "Great Pics".LOL
Thanks Robbie! You can click on the pictures to see larger versions on Flickr. These were taken from the elementary school. And what you see is pretty much the whole town.
DG: Funny you should mention Mayberry... Last night I was flipping through the channels and stopped on "The Andy Griffith Show" which I never do. It was one where he, Opie and Aunt Bea went to Hollywood, one I'd never seen! I swear, seeing their characters so out of place there gave me flashbacks to me in Vegas lol.

Beautiful mountains!
Where you live is soooo beautiful. I still take out the photos of our vacation and flip through them once in a while just pretending it's my home. :)
