I just saw a new Efferdent commercial. It shows two elderly people sucking face in the back of a cab. It says, "One of them is wearing dentures.."
I'm positively elated that folks who've reached that stage in their lives still harbor the desire to examine the interior of each other's mouths with such passion and I sincerely hope that I too will still feel the need to crawl all over some old dude in the back of some form of transportation (although it's more likely to be a city bus than a cab) but dear Lord... THAT DOESN'T MEAN I NEED TO SEE IT!!!!!

I shudder to think what the next Depends ad will be....

There is one for a label machine where the ol' folks get their dentures mixed up. It took me about two beats then I just howled.

Lost ya on the web again, dang it! Blue gave me your new addy. Yanno, I've been enjoying a new news reader app, it downloads RSS feeds from blogs etc so that I don't have to open up my browser and deal with the dial up distress, yanno. But umm, how do YOU get one of those RSS feed thingies?? It's usually an orange icon that reads RSS, XML etc. that allows me to subscribe for feeds from your site. Just curious. Would be great if I could just let an app check my favorite sites for updates heh

Here's a thought. Maybe they share an upper plate between them and they were perfoming the "hand-off" without getting the hands all messy.
Man haven't seen that commercial yet but when I do I am going to think the same thing as you..... Yuk is all I can think. Made hubby jump when I burst out laughing at your take on the whole thing.

As for the Depends commercial - I think it said something about having had so much nookie in your later years that you have destroyed your pelvic floor - and wearing the Depends like a badge of honor...as the hootchie girl you are!
If things continue in this vein, the next Depends ad will open with a g0lden sh0wer.
