Later that afternoon I snuck out again and he was still there. It was sort of odd that it wouldn't have moved in six hours. One of the girls from the office jiggled the bench to see if he'd show any signs of life, we were starting to think it was dead. He blinked when she did it, so we just decided he was sunning himself.
So you can imagine my surprise when today, while climbing the steps to the front entrance (the other side of the building) and having my trusty camera in tow for the first time in a month, I was greeted by this:
It was as if he just showed up to get his picture taken, when I went back later he was gone. Lulu said I should have kissed him, ya never know.

I wonder what kind of frog he is. I don't think I've seen one quite like him before.
I thought it had to be a toad, with that coloring. But in some of the other pictures you can see the little suction-like ends on his feet. Odd huh?
Cute, I kissed my share of taods before I found my prince!

That is one whacked out frog.
I've seen a zillion frogs, toads and aquatic frogs (NatureGirl is a frog nut) and I've never seen one like this. Wow. Either you grow them WEIRD in your little ol' state or a toad mated with a lizard and this is what cha got!
Some day your prince will come!
(you have to imagine music playing in the background)
He looks like a tree frog to me. Ain't he cute? Awwwwww.
Ewww...Not so good looking.
