Oh. My. God.
Bubbles is blaring that "my heart's so broke I'm gonna die" kinda country sap that I can't stand. And she's singing.. or twisting the ears off a coon hound.. it's hard to tell the difference. Thank goodness I've got the stream for KROQ saved in my favorites.
Bossman left today around tennish. "I'll be out of the office. If you need me call me." And he was gone. Thank (insert the name of the supreme being of your choice.)
How are ya'll coming along with your Christmas shopping? I'm just buying for Ma and the Amazon. I think I've got theirs picked out, that's half the battle won. Now, actually acquiring those item is all that's left. I'll probably make little gift bags with small items at the dollar store for the girls around the office, with stuff like little $1 manicure sets, lip balm.. whatever's handy to keep in your desk.
Sometimes when I'm bored (or Bossman is gone and I don't feel like working), I check out the Google Hot Trends page. Aside from giving you a heads up on what the hot search terms are, it's a good way to find out the breaking news. Today I saw something that blew my mind. Just a hop and a skip across the state line, a New Zealand company has opened a new attraction over in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee called the Zorb.
Apparently the Zorb is a giant, inflatable ball that you get in and ride down the side of the mountain at speeds of up to 35mph. You pay money to do this.
Not this (sorta) white girl.
I've been obsessively scouring the Kia website, drooling over vehicles (pronounced "VEE-hick-els".) I say a little prayer every morning when I climb in the hippy van that it lasts just a little bit longer. Yesterday, while discussing job dissatisfaction with Lulu, it occurred to me that with a dependable vehicle I won't be stuck working here, I can look around a bit and maybe find something outside of Frog Pond Holler.
Maybe.. everything does happen for a reason.

I saw that Zorb thing on the news the other night. It looked really freaky! You wouldn't get me in one either.
Meridith Viera took a tumble in a Zorb this morning on the Today show. Looked like fun!
Happy Tuesday all!
Couldn't you picture Craig ridin' the Zorb LOL He does say he likes the bouncy castle at Chuck E Cheese.
Hey wait... my name wasn't on that gift list!? I call you from the middle of a corn field and I don't rate to get a Christmas gift!?
Oh wait.
I think I scared you when I called you from the cornfield. No wonder you don't want to buy me a Christmas gift. LOL.
