All week long I look forward to the weekend and all the housework I'm finally going to be able to get accomplished. I sit at my desk in my gray little cubicle and plan my Saturday, what I'll clean, the furniture I'll move, the clothes I can no longer wear that will be packed away and carted off.
My Saturday is nearly over and ya know what I've gotten done? I ran the dishwasher twice and changed out the cat's litter box.
And took two naps. That's right, two.
As I enjoyed the first mid-August weekend in four years that I didn't have to spend driving to G'boro to get the Amazon moved back into her dorm, that's exactly where Lulu was. Her boy child is starting his freshman year at a school even further up the road, although luckily for her, he's taking a vehicle and won't have to depend on her to cart him back and forth.
You blink and they're grown. It's true.
